What makes a house a home?
In a home, you do a lot of things with your family, like playing, watching TV, and helping them with house chores like cleaning and folding clothes. We also do laundry and sweep the floor. In a home, you are safe, and you are nice and warm and cozy. You eat with all the people you love, and you eat rice, pork, and meat, all depending on your culture. You play games with your siblings. The kind of games we play are Adventures with Lava, Doll House, and Hide and Seek. Also, in a home, your family means something to you. My family means the whole world because they buy things that I need, like school supplies, clothes, and toys, and because they take me to beautiful places. They take me to places like Niagara on the Lake to eat delicious ice cream, see the beautiful sunset, and play in the playground. They also take me sometimes to the trampoline park to jump, jump, and jump. I love them, and they love me. Also, in a home, we celebrate holidays like Christmas and Family Day. In Christmas, we have gifts and food, but that’s not the best part; the part is having time with all the people you love. On Family Day, you spend time with all your family, and even if you are away from them, that doesn’t mean you cannot talk with them. You can play with them on the phone, and you can play games with them, like "I See, I See."
