What Home Means to Me.

The things that make home feel like home: the safety, the love, the food, and the sounds that remind you of home. What safety feels like to me is getting hugs, being close to my family, and being together. I love when my parents make me feel safe. I also love when I'm close to my family and being together. Love feels like getting hugged by my family, and they take care of me if I don't feel good, or eating dinner together, or even playing games together. That's why I think my home is made of love. I love that my parents comfort me when I'm sad they give me hugs. Their hugs feel like a warm cocoon that you could fall asleep in. Next, my family makes me and my sister delicious food, my mom makes us mouthwatering bacon, my dad makes us some steak on a warm afternoon, my nanny makes me some brownies, and my auntie makes me some taco dip. I love that my family is a good cook, they always make delicious food. Some sounds remind me of my home, like bacon sizzling on a nice beach day while me and my sister play games, birds chirping while we eat breakfast. The waves remind me of swimming with my mom, and kids laughing reminds me of my sister and I laughing while our mom falls asleep tanning on the beach. My home is the place where I feel love and get love. A home is made of love and dreams but a house is just made of walls and beams. Where in a house is just walls but so is a home but a home has more meaning inside of it. Now this is what I call home.
