In my house it is always like a zoomy zappy zoo that never stops. Here on Salem Road you will find the Mikel family with their many pets. Our home is a special place where memories are made and time is spent together. When I think of home I think of a big blue house and garage beside a barn with a yard and dogs running. I think of a blue glistening pool and a colourful garden. When I'm home I hear the sound of saws in the workshop or I hear my brother bouncing a basketball. Our house usually smells like sawdust or like mum baking up a storm. When I’m at home I feel comfortable and can be myself. I am happy at my house and especially when I'm working in the workshop with my dad.. In my home my mum, dad, my brother and I all believe in different things. I study Greek mythology. My brother is the Einstein of shoes; he basically knows every shoe! My mom and dad are teachers and they know how to teach any person! My dad is as strong as an ox and my mum is as smart as the goddess Athena! My home is full of magical memories. One is our Mikel family Christmas where the whole family gathers and has a little reunion. The house smells like cookies, you see distant family and you hear laughter. Home carries a lot of memories like when we had to redo the stairs because they were smashed into a crumble of wood from a couple falls. After all these memories our family is still living in this house and the home itself is a memory in my heart. Home is a place where we can unite and feel good about ourselves.
