What home Means to Me

I hope someday if I have a home, it will be like the one my parents have given me full of love, family and where I feel safe. I go to dance class, and I come home to a warm house with the scent of roses from the candle we like. A warm meal with cuddles on the couch with my mom and my dog is the best. Coming home from an arm-wrestling tournament and singing to music with my dad in the car that makes me feel loved. Watching movies with my family with popcorn, candy and staying up till 11:00 is my favorite. Going to bed with kisses and hugs knowing I am safe at home because the window, doors are aways locked and I live in a safe neighborhood. In the morning, I wake up to the smell of coffee and my dog licking my face. Eating peanut butter and toast and watching the birds chirp out the window. This is what my home is like I hope someday my own home with children of my own is full of love, family and a place where everyone feels safe.
