Meaning of Home

Where is home? Some people say it is just a house and leave the subject alone, while others may say it is a feeling or emotion. For me, home is where I live and am happy. One reason is that my family lives there with me. They keep me safe and they have fun with me. My family also cooks for me and gives me things that I need. Speaking of which, another reason is that it has good food in it. My home also refrigerates my food to keep me safe from germs and heats it back up when it’s time to eat it. The final reason is that it is a shelter. Without it my family would be in the streets, protecting from the rain and snow. It would be too cold. Home is where I live and I am happy because it holds my family, has good food, and is a shelter. Many people don’t have a home and I am grateful that I have one, so it is a happy place for me. I am grateful to have a home and there are a lot of reasons besides the ones that I said. I am happy in my home because my family lives in it, it has good food in it, and it is a shelter.
