If home was 5 feelings

I feel love in my home, wrapped in the unwavering support of two parents who stand by me through life's highs and lows. Their love is a steady anchor, providing warmth and strength when the world feels uncertain. I feel comfort in these walls because here, I can truly be myself. It's a space where I am free to express, to grow, and to rest without judgment. This is the sanctuary where my soul finds peace. Laughter echoes throughout my home, a sound that fills the air and brightens even the hardest days. We share jokes, stories, and moments of joy, a reminder that no matter what happens, there is always room for laughter here. I feel happiness in my home, in the little things — the quiet moments, the shared meals, the simple joy of being together. This is a place where I can be at my best and be reminded of the beauty in everyday life. Above all, I feel respect here. My parents honor me for who I am, and in return, I hold them in the highest regard. This mutual respect is the foundation of everything, creating a space where love can grow. This is what a home should feel like. I am deeply grateful to Habitat for Humanity for making this possible, for turning dreams into reality and giving families like mine a place to thrive.
