A House is a Building but a Home is Love
Home, a place where I feel loved, a place where I can be myself and unleash my energy. I have my family with me making me feel safe. As I bake chocolate chip cookies with my mom and like the cookie batter from the bowl. I laugh when I’m tired but don’t care what people think because I’m loved no matter what.
Home, A neighborhood where people love me, The cafe by my house, they love me and I love them, school a place where I feel safe and grow up with amazing fun different kids. I sit in my snowy backyard with my sister building snowmans at my home where I feel loved.
Home, going swimming in the pool with my cousins and playing Marco Polo, My grandma making the best food for us after the pool while we all run up the stairs wet to get to the yummy hot food. We sit at the table and play board games while my younger brother spills soup all over him. But don’t worry He will still be loved no matter what.
Home, the country we all share, the sweet people and parks that we all grew up on. We share, we all watch the city grow and change but never forget the memories growing up with each other, as we grow we realize that we are growing and that things are changing but always remember that we are loved even when we are at our last few minutes alive.
Home, my home means so much more to me than a building and it is more than a building, inside of my home is the warmth of my moms crazy hot shower warming up the whole house. My dad microwaves the popcorn for our movie night because that’s the only thing he can cook and the rest of us sit on the couch what movie to watch but we never worry if we won’t be loved because we are always reminded that we are loved no matter what!
Home, a place you share with many other people, a place you have in your heart because you always know that you are loved.
