What Home Means to Me

This is what home means to me. A home has more than four walls and a door. It is a place where two people create and fall in love, then they buy a house together and then they get a pet or start a family. In a house there are about two or three pictures on the wall, unlike a home there are a lot of drawings on the walls from the kids or pictures of the kids. Coziness is a thing that every home has and when I think cozy in a home I think of my mother's cooking and a fireplace with a nice funny comedy show or movie on, in my home, it is usually Jeopardy, that people can watch with their families. Now let's talk about families. A family is people that you love and care about for (example: Grandmas and Grandpas, siblings, aunts, uncles, and also cousins). Your home is not going to be so tidy and organized it will be a little bit of a mess from your kids and that is okay. My preteen room is also chaotic and messy. In my home there is always a light on because the light makes me look into the amazing memories that me and my family made and we will still make more awesome memories. Home is where you have some nice and fun get-togethers with your family and friends for special occasions like birthday parties, Christmas, and Thanksgiving. A home is a place where you can be yourself and not be judged. A home is a place where I can see the love in the air flying around and I can also see the love collecting all the laughs and all the memories. That's why I love my home. Home Sweet Home!
