The Meaning of Home

A lot of people have a bed, couch, or TV in their house; those things are great, but they're just things. A home though-is not just a bunch of miscellaneous things in a building, but a true community. Our kitchen is very important to my family. Our kitchen is where memories are made, and where our family comes together as a community to cook delicious foods. Our kitchen is home. Food is very important to my family. When our family gather together to share food, we all start to share stories, and make jokes with each other, it's like a type of warmth. Our food is home. Our memories are important to my family. When our family comes together to share memories, some frightening, some delightful, and some you here for the first time. Our memories are home. Objects are nice to have, they can be used in different ways, like a chair, or a table but objects can't transform a house into a home, like people can. It's the people that count; it's the love that counts. It's the community that counts. Our Community Is Home 💗
