Meaning of Home

Home to me is way more than just a roof, walls and a door. My home to me is somewhere I feel comfortable. Somewhere that I don't have to be scared to ask a question or get help with anything. My first options of people who I can go to are always my older brothers. Especially if it's about my school work because they have done all my stuff more recently than my parents. Of course my parents still help out so much. I'm not saying that they don’t. Home can be a fun place. My family and I play games sometimes and it is never not fun. We get lots of laughs, we spend time together and that's what's special. A home doesn't always have to be a happy or fun place. It can be frustrating, stressful, have some anger or crying. At one point, I could be having fun with my brother but then I could be mad at him. That's how life is and you can’t change that. Home to me is where you make all kinds of memories either good, bad, scary, sad, etc and memories are very important. Home doesn't always have to be happy but the memories you make there are important.
