No Place Like Home

Home is way more then just four walls and a roof; it is filled with memories wisdom and comfort. My home is my great grandfather’s cabin, the soft smell of his sweaters, I feel like I’m on cloud nine and there is no denying, I love it. There the soft gentle wind blows on my face as me and my uncle drive through the woods on the four-wheeler, one day soon my newborn cousin might come with us, with Ansley and Chloe riding on the dirt bikes beside us. When we get back my aunts waiting for us and I’m finally at home. It isn’t fully home without my loved ones there, and while were talking, snow falls softly in my hair. I have learned lots and lots of lessons there, like learning how to make sap into glue and my great grandfather taking my height for the first time and marking it on the wall. My most valuable lesson is learning to hold what you love close; you’ll never know when you’ll lose them. Home is way more then just walls and a roof, it is filled with memories, wisdom, and love. Without the memories, stories, love, and wisdom, it doesn’t feel like my home.
