Home
The meaning of home to me means the feeling of love, memories, happiness, and trust. You are nestled like a bunny in its burrow when you’re in your home. The difference between a home and a house is that in a home, you have a family, and memories rest. But in a house, it’s only a building; filled with a forlorn feeling, and just a couple of walls with a roof on top! That’s the difference between a home and a house. One is where you feel seen, heard, valued, and special. One is bland with safety, but no family to love. In my opinion, you need a home just as much as you need a house.
When you enter a home, warm bliss whiffs throughout your soul. You hear laughter, see smiles, and feel comfort surrounding you. A home is squeezed with content. The first step you take into a home, there’s an entryway. This is filled with JOY as people enter into a safe space. Memories.
In the living room, you see a family enjoying each other's company. You hear the giggles of a warm embrace as you relax with your special family. Once you collapse into your couch, a long lasting feel of support comes around you. Love.
Next is the kitchen where your parents prepare the food and you feel the warmth of a family's togetherness. The scent of a delectable dinner wafts around you. Happiness.
After the kitchen, you will see the dining room. This is where all the happens of the day can be conversed with your trustworthy family. When you feel defeated, sad, worried, heartbroken, depressed, or miserable, you can unfold all of this to your family. A home means you can freely speak: no judgements. Trust.
