What My Home Means to Me
My home is very special to me. It’s where I feel safe, happy, and cared for. I can’t imagine what life would be like without it. If someone is used to living in a house and suddenly loses it, they would struggle. I think about people who don’t have a home, and it makes me sad. I wonder where they sleep when it’s cold outside or what they do when they are hungry. I wish everyone had a home where they could feel safe and loved.
When I come home, my family is always there for me. My brother makes sure I watch educational videos. My sister reminds me to use kind words and helps me clean the house. My mom helps me with homework and teaches me my language. My dad plays cards with me, and we laugh a lot together. These things make my home special, and I know not everyone is lucky enough to have that.
My home takes care of me in many ways. There’s always food in the fridge when I’m hungry. I can heat up sausages in the microwave and get a cold cup of water. I can wash my hands after playing outside. My home protects me from the hot summer sun and keeps me warm in the winter. In the spring, I can plant in the backyard, and in the fall, I can pick what we’ve grown. My home has cozy couches, good Wi-Fi, and a TV where I can relax. It’s more than just a place to live, it’s a place where I feel safe and happy.
I know I am very lucky to have a home. A home is not just a building, it’s where people feel loved and cared for. That’s why my home means so much to me
