Home Sweet Home

What does home mean to you? For me, home is something that takes great care of a bunch of important things. Your home holds new furniture you place in it to make and create your home, it possibly holds your first steps and your first day of school. Home holds all your ‘firsts’, but best of all, home holds memories. Your home is safe and secure, and everyone deserves one. Now, people might say they have a house, but it really isn't the same. A house is, well, just some walls, a floor, and a roof connecting it all together. Now do you see the difference? A home is something that holds memories, and a house is just the skeleton you bought. When you first walk into a house, (which is the skeleton) you feel a breeze of cold air, and you see a big, empty, structure that has just been built, with no life, and no care . The real excitement enters when you start to paint the canvas. Place a sofa to watch some movies. Grab a fuzzy blanket, some buttery popcorn, and feel the warmth and welcomeness when you’re inside your spacious, comfortable home. Put a bed in your bedroom. Paint your walls. Lay down in your backyard, and watch the stars smile down at you. Feel the warm summer breeze. Hear the rain trickle down to the ground. Listen to the trees whispering in the wind, the birds singing in the bright morning. Look around. You are at home, a filled canvas full of joy. A place which was once an empty skeleton. Everyone deserves a home. Home. Sweet. Home.
