The Meaning of a Home

A house is a place made of 4 walls, a place with people but no furniture inside it. But a home is a place where memories are made and the feeling of togetherness will never fade. A house is not a home. When I see a house I see a square of brick, when I see a home I see the happiness of the family within. If home had a smell it would be the food made. If home had a sound it would be all the laughter and sad parts of your life. A house is not a home. If home had a taste it would be all the food your parents made for you. I am terrified of not having a home and I hate that some people don't have one. I can't imagine life without a home. All I can imagine is pain, I pray that one day everyone has a home.
