My Home Filled With Joy

This is my home, it is filled with joy. At my home, everyone and everything belongs, we always have space for you. Everyday, my home is filled with memories and love. My home is a very traditional and special place to me because we celebrate many things, even if they aren’t a part of my culture. We make our own traditional days that we make such as chess night on Saturdays, movie night on Sundays and game night with my dad on Fridays. Also, we celebrate celebrations in our culture like Diwali, Tamil new year, and Thai Pongal, these celebrations are very fun to do with my family. We might not be Christian but we still celebrate Christmas and other Christian celebrations like Easter and Halloween. I am very grateful that my amazing family does all of these fantastic traditionals. It is a true blessing to celebrate these things some people don’t have the opportunity to do. My home is shared with 5 others, my kind loving mom, my creative dad, my cute brother, my grandma with the best cooking in the world, and my fishes that swim around 24/7. This is my amazing family. An activity my kind loving mom loves a lot is cooking and spending time with our family, she loves cooking because she enjoys doing it with me and my brother helping her, for example: my cute brother with his tiny hands but very intelligent who gets the ingredients and I love mixing it together with the cooking spoon. My kind loving mom likes spending time by watching comedy with each other. We all enjoy it a lot. An activity my creative dad loves to do is doing photography, playing chess, and helping me with school projects. My creative dad has a photography business called VU photography, the V in VU photography means (“Vinthusha” my mom’s name), the “U” in VU photography means (“Uthayan” my dad’s name) so together VU photography. We love doing photo shoots with our family because we find it magnificent. My creative dad loves playing chess with me, it is very fun to play with him. I usually lose but sometimes I get him into a magnificent checkmate. Also he loves to help with my school projects. He finds it very fun because he enjoys making things. My Grandma with the best cooking in the world loves spending time with my family. Every day when my dad comes to pick me up, my grandma and my brother will sit on a chair by the window and wait for me to come back. My fishes that always swim around love to play with each other and when I tap on the glass they go into hiding mode. This is my beautiful family. Any adjective can describe us. At my home you will see many traditional foods like Briyani, Rice with curry, Pongal, Roti, and my family’s favourite food PANEER. We always make paneer every Wednesday then we eat it. Maybe, when you’re reading this I might be eating paneer. In my home, everything and everyone has a place there will always be enough space for you. This is my home. It might not be like your home but it is the best home I could ever ask for in the world.
