Home is Special
A home can be made with sticks and mud,
Or great big blocks of snow,
A home can be twenty stories tall,
Or in the ground below,
Home is where we see love,
No more pushing, not a shove,
Why is home a place where we care?
People who love, is not that rare,
My little house is not too small,
It can shelter friends who come to call,
Between the stars, in our backyard we’d roam,
There is no better place than home,
At home we have our different languages,
English, French, but usually Chinese,
But at home we can find,
Happiness with fun and ease,
My alarm clock will ring every day,
I get up, and ready to play,
At my home, I always know,
It is a very safe place to go,
Watching the fire begin to transform,
So orange, and cozy , it make me all warm,
When I do it in order
When I am doing stuff, there's no border,
I used pictures to deck the halls,
Lots of frames, on the walls,
A home can be way up a hill,
Or next to an ocean wide,
A home can have a chimney above,
Or have a doghouse by its side,
A home can be where you’re safe and sound,
With family, friends, and more,
A home can be where you have your heart,
And all that you adore,
A home is where you have some fun,
Of course, a home might have a rule,
That everyone must follow,
But there is love everywhere,
So your heart isn’t hollow,
At home there’s not a mine or a his,
This is exactly where my home is!
