Home vs. House

Home is a place where you are free. Jump, run, shout, be who you want to be. Home is a place where you can play all you want. Hop, slide, spin, do it a lot. Home is a place where your work is displayed. Trophies, medals, memories never fade. Home is a place where you can show how you feel. Cry, stomp, laugh, don’t keep it sealed. Home is a place where your favorite things are. Food, family, toys: the things you like are never far. In a home, culture is always there. If you want a place to be accepted, go home, that’s where. Home is a place where you can always fit, But a house is a bit different. A house is a place that is just made out of stuff. Wood, brick, concrete: materials that are rough. A house is a place that you can’t really settle into. No emotions, nothing personal, there’s nothing fun to do. A house and a home are two very different things. A house is a structure, but a home is made of feelings.
