Home is Where the Heart Is
Home means there is warmth, a roof over your head, and food and water. It also means having a family. However, many people have no place to call home. What if you did not have a place to call home? What if you were one of the people in Montgomery Park in Hamilton who only have a tent? Imagine if you were one of them in freezing weather. The homeless crisis has been affecting families all over Hamilton. It has an extraordinarily harmful effect because the prices of homes and food are going up, and more people are ending up on the streets. Everyone deserves to have a home for many reasons.
Firstly, everyone should have a roof over their heads. For example, it keeps them from getting robbed. A door that locks can keep robbers from getting into the house and keep a person’s belongings from getting stolen. As well as that, a home with a roof and walls can keep them from being in adverse conditions including rain, snow, strong blizzards, and hail. So, a home means there is a safe roof over their heads.
Secondly, a home means warmth. For instance, warmth avoids a person getting hypothermia. Hypothermia is when you get really cold. Having a home means being protected from the cold. Also, it can help a person to be able to think and focus because you can’t really work when you’re cold. In a warm home, people can focus and work easier. To sum up, a home means warmth.
Lastly, a home is important because it has food and water. In the first place, a home gives people a chance to cook. Without a kitchen, people will not be able to make healthy food. Correspondingly, a home provides water. For instance, water gives people ways to clean and hydrate themselves. A home is important because it has food and water.
In conclusion, everyone deserves to have a home. A roof over their heads, warmth, food, and water are important to live a good life. Everyone needs a lovely home to live in otherwise everyone cannot live a beautiful life.
