House versus Home

A house can have a bunch of furniture galore, a home is a place you don’t need to explore. A house is four walls with a roof, what you call home you don’t need proof. A house is just a place to stay for the day, A home is a place where you aren't a stray. A house has a table and chairs, A home has a family who are always there. A house can have a bed with a closet too, A home though is a place where you can be you. A house can be pretty and sparkle in the night, A home though, is where you shine bright! A house is just lonely, A home is like a trophy. A house can be an art, But a home has people with a warm heart. A home is a place where you feel like you are loved, where you feel safe, where you have comforting family all around you, it is what you call home. And Habitat for Humanity is here to help us all with whatever problem we may encounter when a home is in need.
