HOME!!! HOME. Home is not a place, it’s the people you're with. Home is the feeling of happiness and joy. Home to me is sitting on the couch with my cats watching my favorite shows, or dancing and rocking out to music or even playing fastball. The feeling of having the music in the air. Music brightens the mood. My home is with my Mom, little brother, my cats and my dad. My parents got divorced when I was eight, so now I have two homes. My family loves going to the beach. We love the smell of fresh air and the laughter that fills the atmosphere. We always play sports. It's either soccer or baseball. My fastball team is my home. I love it, just like dancing. When I was four I did tap; then Covid hit. It ruined everything. I couldn't see my friends, I couldn't even go swimming at the pool. I signed up for contemporary dance lessons a few months ago. I loved it. I always wanted to be a lifeguard. Home was with those lifeguards because they believed in me. Home is with family and cousins. Cousins bring the fun competitive feeling. Animals bring a different feeling. Cats snuggle up to you and bring comfort. When I was nine my cat Bailey died. She was my best friend even though the friendship was kind of one sided. My friends bring an extra piece of happiness in my life. There were only a few of them that clicked, others back stabbed me and found someone else. Home is the colour purple in the dark night sky with the stars and a tint of royal blue. Sunsets and sunrises are beautiful on the beach. My Mom always says peace, love and happiness. She is my home.
