What Makes My Home a Home

My home is not just walls and beams, instead it's made of hopes and dreams . Some things that make my home a home are the endless pillow fights with my sisters but it always ends in one getting hurt and tattling on the rest of us . One thing I love to do is annoy my siblings. Some things I do include going into one of their rooms and leaving the door open and going into their room and turning the light off, and sure they might be mad at me for a little bit but I know they still love me . Another thing I love to do is help my mom cook. The recipes we make together are delicious handmade recipes passed down from generation to generation cooking them with love and affection . One of the last things I admire about my home is the abundance of birthdays and family gatherings that take place in my home . The amount of cake I've eaten in my life is crazy. I love how my home is a safe place to have feelings and emotions. For example the loss of my family's pets over the years have definitely taken a toll on my family but we have all worked through the tough times together as a family. That is what makes my home a home.
