What Home Means to Me

Home to me is a place where you are loved, you feel safe, and at peace. A home is more than just a place where you live. Home is where you feel loved because you got people who care about you. That's where your family is. Where my dad, stepmom, and my hyper little brother and I live. My family makes me feel loved and cared about. Home is where you feel safe. You can lock the doors. You feel security inside your home. You feel safe in your own area. Home is where you feel at peace because you're familiar with the space. It is your own space. I feel at peace in my bedroom. It is a quiet place where I can be alone when I feel down. Being surrounded by my music, books and stuffies make me feel better. A home can be anything from a house, condo, townhouse, apartment building, trailer, to a cabin. Home is a safe place to be. That is what home is to me.
