What home means to me

To some people it may look easy to get a home. But in reality it isn’t. Most people work hard for it Try and create a responsibility for themselves. Home is more than just walls. It’s gone for history, homes keep you safe. There are so many homes that are open for rent or being sold. It’s like they have so long to survive. Home is a place to spend time with your family and pets. A place to build memories. I was born on suffolk. It had 3 floors, the basement was handmade by my Dad, and some other relatives. Which showed me it was simply ours. My dad thought that was my home for the rest of my life. He wanted to make it the best so we tried renovating. We didn't because we talked too much. We thought we needed a restart. So that’s when we started moving. Firstly in 2024 we were going to move to Queensdale crescent until on October 5th we couldn’t sell the house in time. So we went back to house shopping. We found this old house on Brant ave, and it was mostly not… well treated well. The garage door didn’t lock. So my dad started renovating like we started renovating the downstairs kitchen. When we were moving we stuffed so much into the cars so we didn’t use a moving truck luckily our old neighbor let us use his truck to move the beds over. I love that we worked so hard to get here. The house is coming together so well we got some pipes fixed, and we already have a new garage door. Home can mean more than anything so that’s why I want to change that. Thank you.
