Home is where the Heart Is
Home is where the heart is means it is where safety and family are found. When someone does not feel safe in their home and is constantly worrying that they are going to be robbed, then it does not feel like home. When a kindergartener goes home and does not see his/her family, it would not feel like home. When someone's home is dangerous, it is probably not a good home. How would someone feel if a pet that they loved died? It would not feel like home for a while. Hence home is where the heart is means it is where safety and family are found.
Home is where the heart is means it is where belongings and memories are found. When someone goes on a vacation, their belongings are not in the hotel, so it does not feel like home. When someone moves into a new house, it does not feel like home at first since there is no memories there. Home is a place where someone's treasured items are kept and that's why when someone goes outside of their home, it does not feel like home. Hence home is where the heart is means it is where belongings and memories are found.
Home is where the heart is means it is where appreciation and happiness are found. If someone is not happy in their house, it does not feel like home. If someone is living with another person who does not appreciate that person, it will not feel like home. For someone to call their house home, they need to be happy with it to call it home. Hence home is where the heart is means it is where appreciation and happiness are found.
