Home to me
Home is not the different rooms in a house, but, the food shared and the memories made. Home is not the cold nights alone but rather the warm fire in the fireplace surrounded by the people you love. Home is not a clean, polished place, but a place with your belongings cluttering your space. Home is not the for-sale sign on your lawn, but rather the swing set in your yard. Home means different things to different people. Home to me a a place where I can drop off my hockey bag after a game or a practice, and have a warm prepared meal as I watch the Toronto Maple Leafs and talk with my family. Home is also to me the memories I made with friends, family, and my neighbors. In the winter, my dad attaches sleds to his ATV and tows my brother, neighbors, and I around in the field in front of my HOME. In the spring me and my neighbors either watch movies or play in the rain. Also our family opens the pool on our Grandpas' birthday. In the summer we go swimming with our nana and cousins. We go tubing and ATVing. In the fall we gather all of the leaves for our yard and place them in the ditch at the front of their HOME. These are things that we do every season that makes my house feel like a home to me.
