A Home is Not a House

A house is somewhere where there are objects and things but a home is somewhere where there is love and family. It’s kind of like a snail's shell is his house but when there is a group of snails they’re a family and then they are at home because they’re with their family. It is also kind of the life of my dog Bruno. He lived on the streets in Mexico and he lived in a small cardboard box and when it rained his box leaked and it was cold and wet, to him it was just a house. But then he got picked up and put in an animal shelter. All of the other dogs barked at him when he came. When the person came to feed him she just dropped the food in his bowl. The shelter was warm but it was lonely and depressing. But then he got a house with a kind owner and he loved the people in his house he got so used to the people at the house eventually his house became a home. When I travelled we stayed at many places, but everywhere I stayed was always home because I was with my family and the people I love and the place memories were made. I don’t live in a house, I live in a home with the people I love and the people who love me and the people who care about me. and I feel safe when I’m at home because I am with my family and the people I love.
