Home is not a House

Home is a really special thing. A house is something that has a roof, Home is Where love comes from, where your family is, where you are happy. At home, you might have a brother or sister. A house has 4 walls. A house has some windows, a couch, and a kitchen. A home has safety. Maybe you have a cat, a dog, maybe even a hamster or a bunny. Home has comfort. A house has a bed, a bathroom, and some mortgage payments, too. Home is kindness. Where you can be happy, sad, excited, lots of emotions. A house maybe has 2 floors. Maybe even that creepy basement that the stairs creak every time you walk on them. When you're at home, you don’t have to worry. Home is where you feel good. Home is where your best memories are. To me, my family is the best part of home. Now, if you think about it, what do you think is home? What do you feel at home? Lots of people have a house, but more have a loving home. You are very lucky to have your parents, siblings and pets. If you have a house, think about this: your parents take lots of care of you. They spend time on you, and lots of money, too. I once saw how much money my mother had to pay for our food. Over 100 dollars!! And it was only for me, my sister, and my mother and father. Your parents love you. At home, it’s ok to make mistakes. I have to say, love is the best feeling in the world. I really hope you know that.
