Home is not just a place.

Some people might say that home is just a place but I think it's much more. Home is a place where you can be yourself. To begin, home is a warm sandwich waiting on the table after school. Home is a soft bed you can sleep on. Home is a place where you can let your feelings go and not hide them. Home is a place where you can feel cozy and calm on a cold winter night and drink hot chocolate beside a fire. Also, home is full of happy memories like when my dad tries to cook breakfast for me. Home is made out of the people who live in it. Home smells like fresh baked cake from the oven. Home sounds like the snoring of my dad. Home feels calm for when you have a bad day. Finally, home is a place you feel included. Home is a place you feel safe for who you are. Home means that you can feel happy and calm with all the memories you’ve had with your family and friends. I'm grateful for my warm home and my family. I wish that everyone has a home like me.
