What I Love About my Home

My home has everything in the whole world, but here are the things that are most valuable. My home is safe, comfortable and peaceful. First of all, my home is safe. Having a roof over my head is one of the many things that I am grateful for, because if ever there is rain, lightning, a tornado, a hurricane or anything else that can harm someone, I have a safe house to protect me and my family. Also my home is really strong so no thiefs or anyone that can be harmful and get in or break in. I also have safe cars to get around without any accidents or issues. I would be really disappointed and frustrated if any of my belongings got stolen, like my books, my board games, my video games, my money or ANYTHING! I don’t care what it is, I would be extremely upset. It’s also safe because I have good and healthy food every day and every night. I have a great family that I love so much and they love me back too. Having a safe home is awesome! Second of all, my home is very comfortable. Having a comfortable home is THE BEST! Every time I go for a walk outside in the cold winter to get some fresh air, when I get back there is already a nice and warm hot chocolate with extra marshmallows sitting on the kitchen table waiting for me. Also the heaters are turned to the perfect temperature, not too hot, not too cold, just right. After I finish drinking my hot chocolate, I lay down on my couch with my heated blanket and my weighted blanket and I turn on the television and then I start watching. I alternate between playing video games and watching television. After supper, we pick a movie and watch it. What I like about it is that I get to stay up until like 10PM. Or on other nights, we play board games like Monopoly, Clue, Hero Quest or Game of Life. After that, I lay down in my comfy, cozy bed and start reading a book. I read for around thirty minutes and then I start thinking about the good times that happened in my life like the time when I scored my first hockey goal or laughing with my family or playing hockey in my basement with my brother. Then I go to sleep. (Before that I brush my teeth and get my pajamas on and all that). I think my home is really comfortable. Lastly, I have a really peaceful home. Like when I’m reading before going to bed, I can’t even hear a sound.( Except for the TV downstairs). When I’m trying to sleep my parents try their best to not be noisy, and it works! I fell asleep very fast.(sometimes). Or, when I’m playing my video games my brother doesn't annoy and disturb me. Whenever I come from school or anywhere, the house is really peaceful and quiet. Sometimes, when my mom works out, once she is done, she compliments us that we were really quiet so she could meditate and all the other things that she does.
