Home is where the heart is

Home is where the heart is. Dear readers, some people don’t know where home is. I know what you’re thinking- my home address is blah blah blah, but for me, home is where the heart is. Home to me means: a place where I can come to be safe, have a family waiting for me everyday and a place where I know that we have everything I need. But even if your house gets blown down or gets destroyed, the physical representation is not there doesn’t mean that your home is gone, your home is everywhere! Do you want to know why? It’s because you have your family with you. For instance, I’m not from Canada, I’m from Trinidad and Tobago. I was scared to move at first, but I realized that my family was coming with me. My family is my home. My cousins were here in Canada too, so I had family anywhere I went. We’re as close as peas in a pod. Because your family doesn’t stay in one country, if you have relatives in Africa or Brazil, you’ll know you always have someone with you. Now let me get serious, there are some people in the the world who don’t have family anywhere, no place to call ‘’Home’’. But kindness is the only thing you need to make a big difference to someone’s life. Be a superhero and make a big splash in their life. You can be their ‘’home’’ and help them and be their family like my friends, they helped me become more of the person I am today. Without them, I don’t know what I’d do. They are also part of my family, they are as helpful as the Earth is to us. Even if you don’t have expensive things like billionaires, guess what? Family is invaluable. So I think that home is everywhere and anywhere family or friends are.
