Love My Home

My home is a place where I grew up and used to live. All my memories are there, happiness and love to my home. I love my home so much! My home gave my family and I a place to make memories, with happiness and love. Also, our home makes us feel safe and comfy! The meaning of home to me is a safe place to stay and a happy place to go. Sometimes it reminds me of my friends, uncles, aunts, grandparents, cousins and relatives. When I'm sad or angry my home calms me down and makes me happy again. I still remember my memories, my room where I used to sleep in, the foods my parents used to cook for me and my family picture. When I was a kid, I remember saying to my parents that I love our home and I will never forget it but… I left it. I was sad but I still remember my memories, and my love at my home sweet home. When I was still in the Philippines, I thought that a home and house were the same thing. My mom told me that it is just a building but a home is a safe place where people stay when they are sad or angry. When I was growing up, I saw a homeless man and I asked my mom, ‘“Mom! Why does that man have no home?’’ My mom said, ‘’ Because he lost his job, he has no money or a home.’’ So we gave the man some money and after that I started donating. I donated some food, clothes, toys and a small amount of money as well as medicine. I planned to donate to the homeless and I did it! I won't stop donating to people. I love my home so much and I will never forget it.
