Home

Home means many different things to many different people but home is different from a house. A home is a safe place and a place to be comfortable. A house is a normal building with windows and a door. When you think of home you would think of family and all of those memories. But not everyone has a place to call home so I want to help by writing this paragraph about home. Home to me is a special place of safety and joy but to other people home is their special place no matter what it smells like or looks like. It’s a place that holds peace and freedom. It’s a place I can act like myself, run into my mom’s arms and thank her for all she has done. When I think of other families that are struggling to feed their kids or pay for school, I feel extremely sorry and that's why I'm so extremely grateful for a special place I call home. To me, it is a place where I can go to feel safe. I just hope a family finds a home this year and makes memories. My favorite thing to do with my mom is cooking and laughing together. My home has 5 people and 2 pets, mom, dad, Taylor, Fallon, and me. Rex is a dog and Pickles is a bunny. After all, it's a home filled with joy and laughter. Sometimes when I feel sad my mom helps me and hugs me. One of my favorite things to do is to hug my family when I get home. Everyone needs family by their side.
