Home Isn't Always Family

The meaning of home means so many things but to me a home isn't always where your mom and dad are. To me home is where the people and things you love are. A home could be your school or a special place where you're around your best friend. Home is not only a word or a place but it's also something we feel when we get homesick. A very special home for me is in my mother’s arms. It's a home I love because when I'm there I feel loved. It’s not a forever home but it’s one I can visit when I’ve had a rough day or a wonderful day. No one’s meaning of home is the same and we all need a home. When you're unsure of what lies ahead you need somewhere you can be yourself and relax and that place is home. No matter what your home looks like, sounds like or smells like, it's home, always.
