My special place

Home is a warm and cozy hug that wraps around me every day. Whether I am returning from school or a far trip, it is more than just a building. It is a sanctuary where my heart feels safe. Home serves as the starting point for every adventure my family takes and the place I always long for. In my kitchen, I am greeted by the magical scent of delicious food. I feel grateful for these meals every day, not just for the flavors but for the love and hard work my mother puts into every dish. On our walls, the pictures are more than decorations. They are a living storybook of our best times, including birthdays and vacations that turned into something amazing. Every frame holds a memory that makes our house feel alive. Home is a place of laughter and silliness, especially when I need to recover from a bad day. My family, including my mom, dad, and brother, are my world. They are always there to catch me when I fall and to support me when I am not perfect. Home is also my safest place to cry. When I face hardships, my pillow becomes my comfort and my punching bag, catching my tears while the echoes of old sorrows fade away into the safety of my room. Here, I do not have to worry about perfect hair or outfits. I even found a second home in my best friends, Japji and Dilnoor, who are like sisters to me. I am so proud that my school supports Habitat for Humanity. Everyone deserves a place of their own where they feel cared for. Home is not about the size or the furniture because it is about the people. Thank you for helping others find their warm hug.
