What Home Means to Me
Home is like a cozy hug that's always enveloping me with good feelings. Home is what gives me that little push when I get stuck in life.
Home is my pitstop in the winding road of life. Home is my shield from the bad feelings people send my way, and if I do get hit with those bad feelings, my home is always there to replace them with good ones.
Home is my story that I keep writing every day; my pages are filled with all the good memories I’ve ever had.
Home for me is not a building nor a structure, it’s my mom’s guitar, because whenever I’m around it, I feel safe and loved.
So, in conclusion, home doesn’t have to be big or small, it just has to be a place, an object or even a person that makes you feel safe and loved. Thank you to Habitat for Humanity for giving people the chance to start that first page in their story.
