The Specialty of Home

Home is a place that is special. It doesn’t need to be a building. It could be a person, an animal, a place, or an object. Home is something I know, and that I’m comfortable in. For me, home is wherever I feel safe and comfortable to be myself. Like at my house with my guinea pigs I feel excited and full of energy to giggle talk and play with my pigs. At my house, I have a special baby blanket and whenever I hug it, I feel safe and protected. As if there was a barrier keeping bad feelings and scary things away. My blanket is one of the things that makes my home feel like home. Just like if I didn’t have my guinea pigs, my home would feel less full, incomplete. Home is like a little cube where I feel safe and where all of my favorite things are. Home can be whatever you want it to be.
