When I Think of Home

My house is what's on the outside; my home is what’s inside. My house has so many different places inside that makes it my home. My room. My room is where I can listen to my favorite music and draw all I want! My room is very special because it has a nice, specific feeling no other room does. My living room. My living room is where I laugh at family gatherings. It’s where me and my family sit and watch movies in our PJ’s and eat popcorn all together. It's where we sit on Christmas Day and open presents as we sip hot cocoa. It's where we have our most memorable and special moments. My kitchen. My kitchen is where the best cooking and baking goes on. My mom and I love baking chocolate chip cookies with oats in them. I love the smell of those cookies as they bake in the oven. The smell drifts throughout the house as everyone waits for the cookies to be done baking in the oven. My basement. My basement is where me and my brother play and have fun! The things we love the most are: volleyball, drawing, hover boarding, and roller blading. We can stay in the basement for hours, maybe even a full day! The basement is what brings me and my brother together the most. My room, living room, kitchen and basement all make me feel different ways. Those four rooms are the main rooms, that makes my house, my home.
