Home: A Special Place

Home is like a whole different place in space and time. It is where I live, with my family and my pets. I honestly like it when I come home to the sound of my cat’s galloping feet, and my dog’s clicking nails on the floor as they walk. My house is kind of messy, and mostly pretty clean. But underneath all of the pet hair, it's really beautiful! Home also has a certain smell. My home smells like a mix of my mom's cooking, the aroma of scented candles, and the distinct smell of clean couch. Maybe a little bit of bleach from the mop. All of that mixed together might not sound like it smells good, but it does. With all of that being said, a house can be all sorts of things. It can be a tent, a shelter, it can be an actual house. But home... it's something special.
