Where I Thrive

Home is like a habitat where my family thrives. Where I can talk about things, I wouldn't want anywhere else. Our home is sometimes messy, but we can see the diamond in the rough. I can be myself and I can trust people that are at home with me. I can stay with people; I can be happy when they are with me. It is where I have peace of mind and my physical self. I can be as happy as a hippo eating a watermelon. Life is like a winding road with bumps, and sharp turns, but at the end of the road it is home. I am happy when we are finally home. Home is like a castle that protects just like Home for Humanity does with other families in our community when I come home from a bad day, I still thrive when I’m at home. I thrive in my home. I can talk about stuff I would not anywhere else. I will be home, and it could be sometimes messy. I can trust people at home. I can be happy at home, I can be mad at home. Everyone would still accept me with open arms.
