What Home Means to Me

Home means family because your family is always with you and there for you. I love to come home and see my family. Home is where you can be yourself. Home is knowing that mom or dad is making food in the kitchen, there is a warm bed in my room to sleep in and a roof over my head. My living room is where you can watch movies and spend time with your family and friends. Home has emotions. Home is a place where we always find ways to be happy with one another. You can be mad, you can be happy but that is what home is. Remember to always take care of your home because not all people have the blessing of a home. What makes home is having loud times and quiet times with family. It can be chaotic sometimes but it’s what family is all about. At home lots of important memories are made. I like that when I come home feeling tired I can plop down on the couch. Safety is so important in a house. I am so thankful that I have a safe, sheltered and stable home with my family. Home means so much to me. We should always remember to be thankful for having a place to call home.
