What Home Means to Me
To me home means happiness, safety, and a warm place I can be myself. My favourite thing about my home is the people in it with me. I feel happy to be at home. When I first moved in I was 6 months old so I don't remember the first time I was there. Shortly after we moved in we got a dog named Rosie. I basically grew up with her. When I was about 3 or 4 I would sit with Rosie on my couch and cuddle her. I would not have had her without my house. When I laid there I felt happy, safe, warm, the same feelings I feel at home. When I was 3 I got my first ear piercing. After I got them I wanted to be home with the people I love and care for no where but home. Some memories I have had there are when we moved there it was Canada day and our house is red! We have also had more than 50 cats at different times. I’ve also had fish, tadpoles, and Rosie, my dog. Sadly they have passed away. I have a cat named Fran. If I think about home it can be anywhere I feel safe, anywhere I can be myself. Like at my grandparents house, or my cousins house. I am so thankful for this chance to share about what home is and I'm so thankful for my home. I hope we raise enough money to build a house so someone can share a story about their house like I get too.
