Invitation to my Home for Connor Bedard
Invitation to my Home for Connor Bedard/ KS
If Connor Bedard came for a playdate, he should probably be told what to expect by some who knows, like me.
In my house, my family is very busy. Connor would come to my hockey game, my grandpa would cheer very loudly, and my grandpa will tell Connor to cheer very loudly too. Next, my grandpa would drag us to my cousin’s lacrosse game. We’d cheer for my cousin. At the end of the game, we would go skating at the ODR. When we were done, Connor and I would practice my shooting and passing. He would make me practice repeatedly.
After a morning of sports, we will eat lunch. WE WOULD HAVE A FEAST. My grandpa would send us outside because time outside is important in my native culture. We will fight. I would have a great idea to teach Connor to make a homemade spear. First, we would break a tree branch, and we would find rocks and we would sharpen the branch. When done, we would try it out. I’m sure we’d be pleased with the result.
To end the day in a quiet way, we will pray one by one while holding hands. And Connor would leave, happy for a great visit in my HOME! Thank you, Habitat for Humanity, for the good homes you are building for people in need. Everyone should have a home!
