Meaning of Home

The meaning of home, it means a lot to me. When I think about it, when I’m away, it reminds me of family and what it means to this day. Some say it’s just a building, don’t get attached; some say it’s where sadness started. But I say it’s the place where good memories start. The place where my heart gets attached, the place where we have fun and play games. Where I have hot showers and play video games, it’s where we sit by the fire and do the Advent. It’s where we set up the tree and hang the ornaments, and when the snow comes down, and everything is dark, we watch Mr. Bean with bottled Cokes. And once the show is over, we almost die with laughter. We drag ourselves to bed, happy but tired. And in the summer, when everything is bright, we have fun and go outside, to play baseball, or soccer, sometimes football, but what really matters is that were together. And that’s what home is to me, a place where you can love and be free. That's what home means to me.
