The Love Inside My Home

I am thankful for my house, which protects me, for example, on a stormy night, I am inside, dry and cozy. But it isn’t just the structure, it’s also about my family’s love and care for me, which is inside. Home is where, when I am sick and uncomfortable, my family tries to make me feel better, or when I’m sad, they cheer me up, making me happy. Home is also where my school is, and my mom is the teacher. I love learning! Sometimes a delicious smell of orange cake fills the house, which I learned to bake by myself, while mom taught me math and science. In my home, I cuddle up on the sofa or in my bed to read a book. I love doing that! In my classroom, I have a bookshelf full of my favourite books, and in the living room, there are always many books borrowed from the library. I love to play with my little brother everywhere around the house. He is funny and makes me laugh. My home is where I smell food which my mom or dad is cooking. It means food is coming, and I’m usually hungry! Soon, we sit, eat, talk, laugh, and build memories together which will last forever. Through my window, I see when it is dark outside, and tomorrow is going to be a new day. I kiss my dad and say good night. My mom tucks me into my bed. I close my eyes and go to sleep. I dream sweet dreams, or when I have nightmares, my family takes care of me. My family are always there for me, no matter what. Their love is inside my home. And that’s my favourite part, and it will always be.
