Meaning of Home to Me

Home isn’t just a building it is a place where good and bad memories are made and you build your life. Home also keeps you safe, and you can relax and be comfortable. A home is important, especially when it's raining, snowing, sunny, and hailing. This is why no matter how small or big your home is, you should be thankful and grateful for having one. It doesn't matter what people say. You shouldn’t be worried if someone says you have a small home, because some people don’t even have a home. You are probably thinking that a house and a home are the same, but they are different. A house is a building that protects you from the weather. A home is where memories like cooking your favorite soup or celebrating birthdays and holidays are made. Home is very special to me because that is where my family relaxes, eats, sleeps, has fun, talks, and more. I'm grateful and thankful for my home and family. Without my home, I probably would not be here.
