What Does Home Mean To Me
Home. Home can be many things, a city, town, house, and even a loved one. To me, home is my loving family and kind friends. My home, your home, they are all special to everyone. Home is hard to define. If I were to define it, I would say; great place with no danger, the safest place in the world. Most people think of home as a type of shelter. But really, it’s a lot more than that. Home isn’t just a shelter, it’s a magnificent, magical world. The air in my home carries the soft scent of delicious food cooking in my kitchen. My home brings adventure, it’s where fun and joy lay. My home is a legendary realm with strings attached to my friends and family, the bond is unbreakable. It is my happy place, safe haven, and freedom. When in my home, my imagination runs wild. Home is my time to play, run around, and play games. It’s a special world where frowns don’t exist, if they do, they get driven away in milliseconds. Although I’m not always in my home, I am forever connected. When I’m in my home, traditions and projects follow me. Home is the creaks of wood and loving words from my parents. It’s the sound of the clock ticking quietly while I sit on my couch. My home is the rush of water coming from my fish tank, flowing quickly through the fish-filled water. The cold Winters and the warm Summers, jumping outside and making snowmen. It’s the nice feeling of reading and finishing a good book. It’s my doodles and drawings in my sketchbook. My home is going down the electric slide and playing games with my fun friends. Home is my own special place.
