What Does Home Mean to Me?
To me, a home has 4 walls, a roof, and a shelter. A home is where you feel safe and where you enjoy to be. A home doesn’t always have to be a house, it can be anywhere you feel safe. A home is where you can be who you are. Even though a home and a house can be similar, there can still be many differences between them. A house is just someplace you can hide in harsh weather. A home is where you can smell the aroma of delicious food made by your parents. A house is something that you can buy with money. A home is something you can buy with love and memories that stick with you forever.
At a young age, you don't really understand the differences between a house and a home but once you grow older and more mature you can feel that feeling of loving memories made in your home.
A house is just filled with nice and shiny furniture a home is filled with love, care, patience, and memories a house is just someplace where you can rest.
A home is someplace where you celebrate the holidays with your family and loved ones. To me, when you're in your home, all your worries disappear in a flash and everything that you have been worrying about is just gone because everyone that you love and care about is in that home that you are in and all your emotions turn into joy, laughter, memories, love, care, and patience. A house is where you eat food when you're hungry, but it doesn't have the same feeling when you eat in your home. A house can just break easily unlike a home all the love and memories are holding it together.
