Meaning of Home
Meaning of Home
I wake up in the morning and put my clothes on and go downstairs and see that nobody is downstairs. I watch TV and then after a while I see my mom or dad come downstairs and say, “Good morning, Asher!”
At 11 o'clock I go to a friend's home and say, “Good morning! Can you play?”
He says, “Mom, can I play?” and she says yes or no. If he says no, then no. If he says yes, he can play, and we play for 1 or 2 hours.
My favourite thing at home is to hang out with my family and play the piano and play First Strike, and I like to play Mountain Echoes.
The Story of Jim's Home
Jim does not have home. Sometimes, he sleeps over at a friend’s home. He sleeps on a friend’s couch and eats a bowl of eggs. He plays with his friend’s toy for hours, but sometimes the house is too full.
Then he finds a new friend’s house to sleep in. The new friend’s home is different, not the same food, not the same rooms, and not the same toys. Jim has to get used to the new home.
His old friend is looking for him. His old friend is sad but Jim sees his old friend and goes to him and Jim says, “Are you okay?”
His old friend says, “No,” looks up, and sees his friend. Jim’s friend says, “I was looking for you and you can come to my home.”
Jim is very happy and says thank you and gives him a big hug. His friend’s name is Bob, and Bob tells Jim that Jim can go back to Bob’s home.
