The Place I think of as Home

Home is a place where I make memories, find peace, love, joy and relaxation. At the front door you’ll find warm greetings and interactions I have felt many times before, when taking off my shoes and putting them beside the wall. The living room, a place of tranquility and peace, the best room by far. I often fall asleep as well as connect and bond with family members. Staying up late, we love to play board games, video games and watch movies together. The kitchen is a place where numerous smells fill the air. Tastes send me off into nostalgic memories of mom’s cooking with loving effort. Family dinners bring laughter, fun and peace. My bedroom, a sanctuary, a space of relaxation and coziness. I feel peaceful, a place of identity where my clothes can change. I fall into deep sleep, I know that I am loved. The basement, a foundation filled with treasures and memories as I walk in. A place of storage, work and fun times. The backyard and frontyard are an area of change throughout the seasons. A place of play and the growth of life, peace in the dark night sky with the glowing sunrise. That's a place I think of as home.
